Brian Barrick set out creating and developing his niche in the insurance industry beginning 1986, when he developed Nonprofit Insurance Services (NIS) providing insurance protection and risk management tools for organizations across the country, from Adult Day Care Centers to Home Health Agencies, Youth at Risk Organizations to Childcare Centers, plus finding homes for any nonprofits in between.
Brian is a speaker, author and coach for many nonprofit organizations. Writer of Protect You Better for Nonprofits and many articles that have been published in various nonprofit trade journals and newsletters. Working closely with organizations to implement systems that minimize risk and exposures by providing the proper tools and coaching to their protection needs.
Brian’s many roles in the insurance industry include; Insurance Agent, Broker, Program Manager, General Agent and Excess Surplus Lines Agent allowing him to serve clients with unique programs of insurance.
In May 2010, Brian implemented a new insurance agency with a special twist that is dear to his heart – insuring animal welfare organizations and their caretakers through Animal Welfare Organization Insurance programs (AWOIP).
Brian and his team of insurance professionals are available to service clients with their risk management and best practice protocol with the intent to reduce and eliminate claims, also supporting procedures to follow should a claim occur.
