You always hear some things that are good and some things that aren’t as good with fundraising ideas, but what about the fundraising experience as a whole. Below is a do and a don’t for fundraising, can you figure out which is a do and which is a don’t?

  • Be afraid to ask
  • Start Slowly

Did you figure it out? The do is “start slowly” the don’t is “don’t be afraid to ask”. Fundraising, like many other things, is something you have to be committed to and you want your fundraising to turn out professional and organized, which takes time. Some people feel a shame asking for money but that is not the case for this, you need to ask for donations for your organization, so get used to the idea.
