Starting a childrens daycare  can be a rewarding adventure if it is launched properly. First, it is important to check your state regulations because you will need to know how many children you are allowed to enroll with the amount of space in your daycare. The next step is to come up with a business plan, you can find samples of daycare business plans online for about $20 such as http://www.bplans.com/day_care_business_plan/executive_summary_fc.cfm .

Next, you’ll need to come up with a plan for operating a daycare.

  1. What will your regular day hours be?
  2. Will you provide meals or will children be required to provide their own meals?
  3. What activities will you offer in the daycare
  4. What field trips will you offer, if any?
  5. Do you need to purchase an additional vehicle to transport children?
  6. What type (if any) daycare insurance do you need?

These are just a few items to plan for when planning topen a children’s daycare.  You will need to supply the proper care for your children which includes a safe  state regulated playground, and good staff members who have had background checks. You will need to decide whether you will manage your daycare or if your hire a director to manage, either way, the management team will do all of the enrolling, creating strict procedures for employees and enrolled personel, etc. Marketing your business is an essential way to receive the proper business. Think about how you can grab the parents attention through an advertisement on tv, flyer, or newspaper article. Good luck!
